Join the Sisterhood.<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Women&#8217;s Pinball Tournament Code of Conduct<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>This Code of Conduct exists to ensure that all participants, volunteers, organizers, sponsors, and spectators experience a welcoming, inclusive, and respectful environment at our women\u2019s pinball tournaments. By attending or participating, you agree to uphold the following standards.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-medium-font-size\"><em>1. Our Commitment<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>We are committed to providing a safe, supportive, and fun space that celebrates competition, camaraderie, and community. Discrimination, harassment, or exclusion of any kind will not be tolerated.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><em>2. Expected Behaviour<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>All participants and attendees are expected to:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Treat everyone with respect, kindness, and professionalism.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Support an inclusive environment regardless of skill level, background, identity, or experience.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Compete fairly and honestly, following all tournament rules and IFPA standards where applicable.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Communicate clearly and calmly, especially during competitive or stressful moments.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Respect tournament staff, volunteers, scorekeepers, and rulings made by officials.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Be mindful of personal space and consent at all times.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Help create a positive atmosphere that encourages learning, growth, and fun.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p><em>3. Unacceptable Behaviour<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The following behaviours are not permitted:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Harassment, intimidation, bullying, or discrimination in any form.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Offensive, derogatory, or sexual language, jokes, gestures, or imagery.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Unwanted physical contact or invasion of personal space.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Disruptive behaviour that interferes with gameplay or the enjoyment of others.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Excessive intoxication or substance use that impacts safety or conduct.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Cheating, score manipulation, or intentional rule violations.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Retaliation against anyone who reports a concern in good faith.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p><em>4. Sportsmanship &amp; Gameplay<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Respect machines, equipment, and venue property.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Accept wins and losses with grace.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Raise rules questions respectfully and through appropriate channels.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Do not coach or interfere with active players unless permitted by tournament rules.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p><em>5. Reporting Concerns<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>If you experience or witness behaviour that violates this Code of Conduct:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Report it to a tournament director, organizer, or designated staff member as soon as possible.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>Reports will be handled discreetly and taken seriously. You may report concerns for yourself or on behalf of someone else.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><em>6. Consequences<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Organizers reserve the right to take any action deemed appropriate, including:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Verbal warning<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Temporary removal from the tournament area<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Match forfeiture or disqualification<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Removal from the event without refund<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Ban from future events<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>Consequences will be based on the severity and context of the behaviour.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><em>7. Scope<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>This Code of Conduct applies to:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>All tournament-related activities<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>In-person and online communications related to the event<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Event spaces including venues, after-parties, and official social spaces<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p><em>8. Shared Responsibility<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>A great tournament experience is a shared responsibility.
